Profile Java developer
Purpose
You will be responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of software solutions (applications / systems) to support business processes. This mainly for the order processing, network administration, service provisioning and billing systems in the Telecom and Internet industry.
This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of an experienced and proactive team, supporting big customers to implement its requirements, sometimes to very tight deadlines.
You must have demonstrable experience in software implementation from a developer perspective. You are personally passionate and up to date with current trends and technologies, committed to quality. You can communicate in English, Dutch is a pre and you should thrive in a pressured environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate functional requirements into appropriate design in consultation with the customer
- Independent software solutions (applications / systems) based on design
- Test the built software solutions together with the customer
- Transfer of software solutions to operational organization
Profile
- Academic level
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in designing and building software solutions
- Experience with JBoss5.xm, EJB 3.0, Tomcat, JPA 3 hibernate, consumptive WebService design/ development
- Experience with MS SQL, SQL Server or other RDBMS
- Experience with Eclipse views, perspectives and plug-ins
- Familiar with JSP, the basis principles of dynamic web pages
- Familiar with REST architecture and it’s differences with Web Services
- Pre: familiar with API of Jena
- Knowledge and experience with integration tools. For example: Spring Framework, several related modules and product like Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Security, Spring ROO, Groovy and Grails
- Familiar with Agile and Scrum method with sprints, releases, user stories, etc.
- Pre: familiar with process and services in the Telecommunications and Internet industry
